Thumbelina

H. C. Andersen has always felt that he did not belong to his society so he wrote the story of Thumbelina, a little thumb-sized girl, who cannot find her home neither with the ugly frogs nor with the dutiful mouse or the stern mole, who lives underground despising the sun, the birds and all other things that enjoy life. Thumbelina will ultimately be taken to her home with flower-angels and grow wings, finding her true identity and lasting happiness, while the children will learn that you do not need to be big to have a big heart.
