Zagreb Time-travellers

Two children turn on a time-machine exhibited in the Zagreb Technical Museum to go back in time, before the history exam they failed. The machine takes them all the way to the first inhabitants of the Zagreb area (the Cro-Magnons) and then transports them to a series of events that shaped Zagreb’s rich and thrilling history: from the foundation of the city, the legend of its name, Turkish conquest, foreign rulers, fights between Grič and Kaptol (two hills that are the oldest part of the modern Zagreb), earthquakes and famous mayors. The historical overview is enriched by famous songs about Zagreb in this enjoyable production intended for school children and everybody else who wishes to learn more about Zagreb’s history.
