The White Deer
The story of a little goose-girl Anka, who grew up among wild forest animals, is one of the Croatian classics. It questions the balance between nature and culture, reason and intuition. Like Kipling's Mowgli, Anka will become a bridge between the castle and the wilderness, teaching us that one should not approach nature to conquer it, but to understand it.
